A new regulation has been established to determine who will receive fine points in cases where traffic rules are violated by someone other than the vehicle owner.
Starting from April 1, radars will also begin recording fine points. Therefore, vehicle owners who allow another person to drive their car must indicate through their personal electronic account to whom the car has been handed over. The driver who receives the car must confirm this information in the system.
If the person receiving the car does not confirm this process electronically, the fine points recorded by radars will be assigned to the car owner’s account. The owner must have a valid driver’s license.
This procedure is being introduced to ensure road safety and clearly define responsibility.
