Tesla has officially registered a voice assistant function based on generative artificial intelligence in China.
According to data from Shanghai, this technology is included among the 158 artificial intelligence applications approved by the Cyberspace Administration of China.
This move was made by Tesla to strengthen its position in the competitive Chinese automotive market, as domestic manufacturers have already successfully integrated AI systems into their vehicles.
Earlier reports indicated that the company plans to integrate DeepSeek and ByteDance’s Doubao AI systems into its models to bolster its presence in the Chinese market.
This strategy is aimed at making Tesla vehicles more convenient and attractive to local consumers.
