The film, based on the script of famous Uzbek writer Erkin Azam and directed by Ayub Shahobiddinov, has once again been acknowledged on the international stage. At the VI "Lendoc Film Festival" held in Saint Petersburg from August 22 to 24, the film "Bahorni Quvib" won awards in the "Best Script" (Erkin Azam) and "Best Actress" (Ra'no Shodieva) categories.
Films from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, India, China, and Russia were showcased at the festival. According to "Russian Newspaper", consultations with leaders of international film organizations were also held within the festival.
One of the key factors in the film's international recognition is its genre, psychological drama, which was commissioned by the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency. Today, "Bahorni Quvib" has received recognition at several international film festivals. At the II International "Antares" Film Festival held in Moscow from August 6-10, the film won the "Best Film" (Grand Prix), "Best Script", and "Best Supporting Role" (Anvar Kartayev) categories. Thus, the film's success on the international stage has been highly praised.
Additionally, at the 2023 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival held in Chongqing, China, the film "Bahorni Quvib" won the "Best Actress" (Ra'no Shodieva) award.
The international recognition of the film is undoubtedly a sign of the development of Uzbek cinema and its future prospects. "Bahorni Quvib" makes a significant contribution to promoting our culture and art not only nationally but also internationally.
