Popular singer and actress Zuhra Soliyeva reacted to the new tax decision on social media. She said that tax obligations create difficulties for artists and demanded that they be provided with financial and housing.
“I don’t work anywhere, I don’t get a salary from anywhere. My only source of income is weddings. And for weddings, I don’t exceed the set price, there are both cheap and free options. So let’s provide artists with jobs first or give them relief. Now that this decision has been made, when will I get a house if I pay taxes on weddings? Will I be homeless again?” Soliyeva complains.
The singer stressed that she wants the problem of financial stability and housing for artists to be resolved, because the new tax obligations make it difficult for them to provide wedding services, which are their main source of income.
