Music school in Tashkent to be named after Farrukh Zakirov

It is planned to name one of the children's music and art schools located in Tashkent after Farrukh Zakirov. This was announced in a resolution adopted by the President on February 15 of this year.
According to the document, the children's music and art school No. 7 in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent will be named after the famous artist. This initiative aims to widely promote the creative heritage and pass it on to the younger generation.
A number of innovations will also be introduced into the school's activities. In particular, the "Yalla" children's ensemble and a youth creative laboratory will be organized. It is planned to organize special schools of excellence in the field of pop music based on the "Master-Apprentice" tradition.
Creative mentors working in these schools of excellence are encouraged at the expense of the state budget and are paid a high monthly salary. This will serve to attract qualified specialists and ensure quality education.
Furthermore, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, talented students from various regions of the republic will be selected, and free variety singing courses will be organized for them. As part of this process, summer creative clubs will also be organized.
A modern sound recording and filming studio will be built at the school, equipped with stage equipment and costumes. The students' creative works will be shown on television and international online platforms.
It was reported that the Ministry of Culture will fully provide the school with the necessary musical instruments, modern technical means, as well as textbooks and sets of music scores. Such measures serve to support young talents and further develop national art.
