A record was set for the number of new enterprises in Tashkent

According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, from January to August 2025, 58,502 new enterprises and organizations (excluding farms and dehkan farms) were established in Uzbekistan. This figure is 1.1 percent higher than the same period last year.

Leaders by region:

• Tashkent city – 12,796
• Tashkent region – 5,788
• Khorezm region – 5,251
• Fergana region – 4,814
• Samarkand region – 4,429

Lowest figures:

• Navoiy region – 2,246
• Syrdarya region – 1,484

Thus, Tashkent city retains absolute leadership – almost 22 percent of all new enterprises belong to the capital.
