Uzbekistan maintains foreign trade relations with 206 countries

In January-September 2025, the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted trade relations with 206 countries of the world. According to the National Statistics Agency, the country's foreign trade turnover for this period amounted to 59.8 billion US dollars. This is $11.1 billion more than in the same period in 2024, showing a growth of 22.9%.

Dynamics of exports and imports

Exports amounted to $26.7 billion, an increase of 33.3%. Imports reached $33.1 billion and increased by 15.6%. The foreign trade balance was formed with a negative balance of $6.4 billion.

Major trading partners

The largest trading partners of Uzbekistan are China (19.1%), Russia (15.7%), Kazakhstan (5.8%), Turkey (3.6%) and the Republic of Korea (2.2%).

Priority products in exports:

Industrial products - 10.7%

Food products and live animals - 7.7%

Chemical agents - 5.7%

Finished products - 4.7%

Directions occupying the main share in the structure of imports:

Machinery and transport equipment - 33.9%

Industrial goods - 15.9%

Chemical products - 12.3%

Main sources of imports:

Countries such as China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Korea, Germany, and India provide the majority of goods and services coming into the country.

The growth of foreign trade potential in the economy of Uzbekistan and the country's integration into the world market are becoming increasingly active. This allows for the expansion of production, access to new markets, and further strengthening of foreign trade cooperation.
