In January-October 2025, the number of foreign citizens arriving in Uzbekistan for commercial purposes increased significantly. According to the National Statistical Committee, a total of 362.8 thousand foreign businessmen visited the country during this period.
It is noted that the number of commercial visitors increased by 229.7 thousand people or 2.7 times compared to the same period last year. This indicator once again demonstrates the attractiveness of Uzbekistan for trade and business in the region.
According to statistics, in the first 10 months of this year, the largest number of businessmen came to Uzbekistan from Afghanistan. Their number was 339,585. This constitutes the absolute majority of the total indicator.
In second place is Tajikistan, which was visited by 16,734 businessmen from this country. Turkmenistan (2,773), Russia (673), Kazakhstan (504), and Turkey (492) followed.
Also, a total of 2,055 foreign citizens from other countries arrived in Uzbekistan for commercial purposes.
