The number of individuals worldwide with a net worth exceeding one billion dollars has been increasing at a rapid pace in recent years. According to the 40th anniversary ranking by Forbes, this trend is becoming even more pronounced.

Currently, the number of billionaires globally has reached 3,428, which is approximately 400 more than in 2025. According to estimates, at least one new billionaire emerges every day in various parts of the world.

Their total combined wealth is estimated at around 20.1 trillion US dollars. For comparison, it is noted that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the United States in 2025 was approximately 30 trillion US dollars.

Elon Musk holds the top position on the Forbes list, with his fortune built on the success of Tesla and SpaceX. Following him are other prominent entrepreneurs, including Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Additionally, it was noted that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang entered the top 10 for the first time due to the surge in the artificial intelligence sector. Meanwhile, Alisher Usmanov ranks 10th in the list of Russian billionaires.
