The public catering sector in Uzbekistan has demonstrated significant growth in recent months.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, as of March 1, 2026, there are 27,243 cafes and restaurants operating in the country.
In January–February of the current year, the total turnover of these enterprises reached 33.7 trillion soums.
It was noted that this figure is 14.6 percent higher compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, the turnover in January alone amounted to 15.2 trillion soums.
This represents an 18.9 percent increase compared to January 2025.
