A survey conducted among one thousand women in the United Kingdom who do not own a home revealed that modern women are increasingly seeking to purchase property independently. According to Peopletalk, 37% of respondents plan to buy a house or apartment without a partner.
At the same time, 35% of women stated that they intend to purchase a home together with their future spouse. The study notes that in recent years many women have been applying for mortgages in their own names.
Survey results show that more than half of the participants cited independence and a sense of security as the main reasons for buying a home. 41% of women consider it important to choose the type of housing and the layout of the rooms according to their own preferences. For 36% of respondents, purchasing property is regarded as the most profitable investment.
