Asian countries attract foreigners with affordable living, rich culture, and job opportunities. According to the 2025 international “Expat Insider” survey, five of the top 10 countries are in Asia – Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
China made a big leap this year, rising from 19th to 6th place. This was driven by better working conditions, salaries, and quality of life. Malaysia entered the top 10 for the first time, while Vietnam ranked first in financial affordability.
In Malaysia, the wide use of English and cultural diversity make life easier. Living in Vietnam is cheap, and the society is warm and friendly.
Experts say these countries offer a high quality of life and happiness. That’s why many foreigners are choosing Asia as their new home.
