During an operational event conducted by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Jizzakh region, a person who distributed pornographic materials with the participation of minors via Telegram was identified, the Cybersecurity Center reported.
It was reported that he posted 403 types of prohibited materials through his channel with 442 subscribers. In his testimony, the suspect stated that he first joined such a channel out of curiosity, and then opened a similar page himself.
A 21-year-old resident of the Tashkent region was also detained. It was revealed that he opened 6 channels on Telegram on behalf of girls and posted a total of 3,750 pornographic materials.
According to the investigation, he sold illegal products involving minors to 837 people through other social networks and received an income of 29.2 million soums.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 130, Part 3 of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to the suspects.
