Woman arrested for blackmailing acquaintance with personal secrets

In Fergana, a woman who attempted to extort money from an acquaintance by threatening to disclose their personal information has been apprehended by law enforcement agencies. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It was determined that the woman, born in 1988 and a resident of Moturidiy Street in Fergana, threatened to leak sensitive personal information about the citizen. In exchange for keeping this information confidential, she demanded 3 million soums.

During a swift operation, the suspect was caught red-handed by law enforcement officers while receiving the agreed-upon money.

Pre-investigation checks are currently underway regarding the incident. It was stated that after a legal assessment of the situation, appropriate measures will be taken against the woman's actions in accordance with the law.
