A 20-year-old man in Tashkent is alleged to have sexually harassed a 75-year-old woman. The incident occurred early in the morning, at approximately 05:30.

According to preliminary information, the man approached the woman from behind while she was collecting plastic containers on the street, touched her pocket, and then hugged the elderly woman.

The man attempted to flee the scene. However, local residents prevented him from leaving and notified the internal affairs authorities via the 102 emergency number.

The detained man said that he had committed the act while under the influence of alcohol. No further information has yet been provided about the legal measures taken against him.
