NASA Confirms Crew-13 Mission Will Launch on Time with No Issues

The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is preparing to send the next expedition to the International Space Station (ISS). According to agency officials, the Crew-13 space mission is proceeding as planned without any serious difficulties, and the launch will take place on schedule. According to Ixbt.com, Dana Weigel, a specialist overseeing NASA’s low Earth orbit programs, disclosed details of the flight at a press conference in Houston. She said the Crew Dragon Grace spacecraft is scheduled to fly to the ISS in mid-September this year, and preparations are proceeding normally.

International Crew and Journey to Space

Representatives of several countries are scheduled to travel to orbit as part of the mission. The Crew-13 crew includes Roskosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov, NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, and Joshua Kutryk, a representative of the Canadian Space Agency.

Experts note that the flight of representatives from different countries aboard a single spacecraft is a clear example of international cooperation. The smooth progress of preparations is also an important factor in ensuring safety and stability.

Invitation Extended to Russian Specialists

Joel Montalbano, head of NASA’s ISS program, also said that Roskosmos representatives had been officially invited to participate in this Crew Dragon flight. He explained that such invitations are standard practice in cooperation between space agencies.

At the same time, Montalbano added that the participation of Russian officials in the event could be limited because the launch of the Progress cargo spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for September. Nevertheless, working contacts between the parties are continuing on schedule.
