The Football Association of Uzbekistan separated its paths with the national team coach Vlado Radmanovich. The decision was announced by Abdulvosit Bektemirov, a journalist from Championat.asia.
According to sources, the agreement was terminated by mutual consent. With this, Radmanovich ended his career with the national team, and a new page opened in the coaching staff.
The Croatian specialist worked with the national team from 2021 to 2025. Initially, Srechko worked as an assistant in Katanes' staff, and after Katanes left the position at the beginning of the year due to health reasons, he continued his work as part of the coaching team led by Timur Kapadze.
As a reminder, the contracts of the current coaching staff members - Alesh Czech, Martin Magistr, and Nikhad Pezhkovich - have been automatically extended until the end of the 2026 World Cup. This means that the main tasks in the headquarters will be continued while maintaining continuity.
These changes also indicate the possibility of updating the national team's technical and analytical approach to preparation plans for the coming months, friendly matches, and qualifying rounds. Now it is expected that the headquarters will recalibrate the distribution of tasks with the remaining personnel and adapt the models on the field to the task.
The UFA has not yet released any further official comments. Information on further steps is regularly monitored through updates in official channels.
