Arne Slot: "There is no reason to completely change our playing style"

"Liverpool" has lost six out of their last seven matches. The team's head coach Arne Slot answered a question in the press conference regarding paying more attention to defense.

"This goes against my views, but I have also won games by playing contrary to my principles. For example, in the away match against Manchester City, we were forced to play that way in the second half.

I am ready to adapt under certain circumstances, but I don't think we are conceding goals because we play an open style. In almost every game—except maybe the matches against Crystal Palace and Brentford—we deserved a better result.

I don't see any reason to completely change our playing style, but of course we need to play better in order not to concede such goals," Slot said at the press conference. On Saturday, Liverpool will host Aston Villa in an English championship match.
