Turkey’s "Galatasaray" team head coach Okan Buruk took part in a press conference following the 3:0 victory over "Ajax" in the 4th round of the UEFA Champions League. Buruk expressed that he was satisfied with his players’ performance.
"Overall, we played well and secured an important victory. I am very happy about this.
In the first half, we dominated possession, and in some situations we held the ball for several minutes. Ousimhen had two good chances.
If we had scored an early goal, the game could have taken a different direction," the coach said in his interview with Manset Haber. Buruk also specifically emphasized the benefits of the tactical changes.
"By moving Baris Yilmaz to the center, we became more effective in attack and then scored a goal. We did not allow the opponent many chances, and in defense, we played with strong discipline," he said.
The Dutch club remains the worst team in the tournament, holding 36th place. Also, Portugal’s "Benfica" has 0 points.
Meanwhile, "Galatasaray" is in 9th place with 9 points. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
