According to Cole, Enzo is currently a key figure for Chelsea and is considered one of the leaders in the dressing room. He emphasized that the player has reached an age where he wants to win major trophies. Jo Cole believes that if Real Madrid is looking for a midfielder like Fernandez, the Argentine player could be on the club's shortlist. Nevertheless, it is very important for the Londoners to keep him in the team.
"If this were the Chelsea of 10–15 years ago, we wouldn't sell our best players unless necessary. Now, I can't say for sure how the situation will unfold," said Jo Cole.
This season, Enzo Fernandez has appeared in 32 matches for Chelsea across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
