According to reports, our team will live here during the tournament and will train at the Atlanta United training base. Atlanta is among the official FIFA Team Base Camp options, and one of the bases in this city is the Atlanta United Training Centre.
This decision was made not only for convenience, but also from the point of view of the tournament's logistics. According to FIFA rules, national teams live in their home base during the group stage and travel to and from matches on charter flights. That is, the team does not move from one city to another, but remains in the main training center, arriving for matches on special flights, and returns to its headquarters after the match.
It is noted that to date, FIFA has selected more than 61 Team Base Camp locations for the tournament participants. These bases are specifically designed for teams' residence, recovery, and training, and the accommodation process is shaped by the geography of the cities where the national teams play. NBC Sports also wrote that this system serves as a "home away from home" for teams in the group stage.
According to reports, the teams in our group will be located in Portugal - Palm Beach Gardens, and Colombia - in the city of Columbus.
