The “CAFA U-17 Championship 2026” competition continues, and in the second round, the Uzbek U-16 youth team played a great game against their Afghan counterparts at home, winning 3:0. This victory delighted the fans and gave the team great confidence for the upcoming matches.
The match started at 17:00 at the National Football Center in Tashkent region. The Uzbek team gained an advantage in defense and attack from the very beginning. The authors of the goals were Emmanuel Emonkpaire (9th minute), Ulugbek Khairullaev (11th minute) and Kamoliddin Akbaraliev (90+2nd minute), each of which left the fans in awe.
The national team consisted of Ayupov in goal, Uralov, Zulfikarov, Erkinjonov, Nasrulloev in defense. Emonkpaire, Ruzimurodov, Mamatov and Khairullaev contributed to the attack. The substitutes also gave the team new energy: Akbaraliev and Bobirov came on the field and strengthened the result.
