Two Uzbekistani footballers could join Braga

Information has emerged that Sadriddin Khasanov and Sayfiddin Sodiqov, representatives of the Uzbekistan youth national team, may move to Portuguese club Braga.
According to reports, Portuguese specialists plan to sign the 17-year-old talents on a one-year loan from Bunyodkor and the Odil Akhmedov Football Academy. It is also possible that the players' loan at the Andijan club will be terminated early.
According to the plan, the young talents will officially join the new team in the summer of 2026, after turning 18. This could mark one of their first steps into European football.
According to information, Braga scouts watched them at the U-17 World Cup in Qatar and subsequently invited them for a trial. The players later trained with the club's U-23 team for two weeks, leaving a positive impression on the coaching staff.
Crucially, the contract includes a purchase option. An approximate fee of €250,000 has been set for Khasanov and €300,000 for Sodiqov. If this option is exercised, both players could sign a five-year contract.
Bunyodkor and the Odil Akhmedov Academy are also set to receive a percentage share from the future transfer. This could also serve as additional motivation for local football academies.
If all processes proceed as planned, these transfers will undoubtedly serve as a significant step for young Uzbekistani footballers entering European fields.
