Anthony Gordon wants to win the Champions League with Barcelona

English winger Anthony Gordon has revealed his ambitious goals after moving from Newcastle United to Barcelona. The 25-year-old, who signed a five-year contract with the Catalan club, emphasized that the team must win their sixth Champions League title. Gordon, whose transfer fee was 80 million euros, called this move a dream come true. This is reported by Goal.com .
During his visit to the club museum, while viewing the five prestigious European trophies won by Barcelona, Gordon clearly defined the team's future goal. "We need the sixth one," the forward said in a video released via the club's official channel. He expressed hope that he would help the "Blaugrana" triumph in Europe's most prestigious tournament during his tenure.
Gordon also had his first meeting with his new head coach, Hansi Flick, and spoke positively about the German tactician. "Our conversation was very good and sincere. He is a great person and helped me feel very comfortable," the English footballer noted. He added that he is looking forward to playing in front of the fans and winning many trophies.
Anthony Gordon has also managed to meet new teammates such as young star Lamine Yamal and Frenkie de Jong. During a fun Q&A session, he named Lamine Yamal the best-dressed player on the team. Known for his interest in reading, Gordon jokingly mentioned that he might start a "Catalan Book Club" in the dressing room.
