According to Aviasales, the average cost of airfares from Uzbekistan to China has dropped by 44% over the past year, following the introduction of visa-free travel and an increase in the number of flights. The data was shared with Kursiv Uzbekistan.
The number of flight bookings to China has grown by 66% year-over-year. Guangzhou was the most popular destination, with ticket prices halving.
Airfares to Beijing fell by 39%, and bookings to the city increased by 76% year-over-year. Tickets to Shanghai became 23% cheaper. This city has become particularly popular among those flying in business class.
The popularity of Hangzhou has surged, with demand for flights there rising by 82%. Family tourists from Uzbekistan prefer traveling to Beijing, Shanghai, and the resort city of Sanya.
