OpenAI has issued a sharp statement regarding Elon Musk. The company accuses Musk of exerting pressure through years of baseless lawsuits and public attacks. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.
The statement claims that Musk wanted to gain full control over the OpenAI organization. He even proposed merging it with his company, Tesla.
After receiving a refusal, he left the company.
OpenAI representatives assert that Musk is acting to hinder a competing artificial intelligence company. His actions are described as being driven by jealousy and regret over his departure from OpenAI.
Currently, Musk is also attempting to have the financial support he previously provided reviewed through the courts. He had donated 38 million dollars to the OpenAI non-profit organization.
He is now demanding that these funds be reclassified as an investment and is seeking a stake in the company.
Additionally, OpenAI stated that its non-profit foundation will continue to fund projects in the fields of medicine and science. It is planned that at least 1 billion dollars will be allocated for these purposes this year.
