India's Pronto startup secures investment with a 20-minute pitch

Lachy Groom, one of Silicon Valley's prominent angel investors, has decided to invest in the Indian startup Pronto. Following his first meeting with 24-year-old founder Anjali Sardana, he agreed to commit $20 million in just 20 minutes. This deal brings the startup's total valuation to $200 million. This is according to Techcrunch.com reports.

Based in Bengaluru, Pronto focuses on digitizing and organizing home services. Lachy Groom praised the startup's operational discipline and the team's high potential. According to him, Sardana and her team are operating with unprecedented efficiency in this sector.

The home services market in India is growing rapidly. According to Bank of America analysis, this sector is expected to reach a market value of $15-18 billion by 2030. Currently, Pronto holds a 20% market share, competing with rivals such as Snabbit and Urban Company.

Pronto continues to expand its operations and has managed to increase daily orders from 18,000 to 26,000. The startup is placing significant focus on ensuring consistent user engagement and building customer habits.
