Samsung has begun rolling out the security update for May 2026. Initially released for mid-range Galaxy A-series devices, this update is now becoming available for Galaxy S-series and XCover models as well. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

To check for the new software, users simply need to go to "Settings" on their smartphones, select "Software update," and tap "Download and install." The update is currently being rolled out in stages, so the list is expected to expand in the coming days.

According to information on the official Samsung page, this May update addresses a total of 37 security vulnerabilities. 30 of these were provided by Google, two of which are classified as critical risks.

The update also includes seven Samsung Vulnerability Enhancements (SVE) specific to Samsung devices. These measures are aimed at further strengthening the smartphone security system and ensuring the protection of user data.
