Weatherproof: Netcraze introduces its first outdoor Wi-Fi access point

Netcraze has announced the launch of its first outdoor access point, the Stellar 6 (NAP-650), which operates on the Wi-Fi 6 standard. The device features an AX3000 speed rating, providing data transfer speeds of up to 3000 Mbps, and supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new device is designed for outdoor use in challenging weather conditions. It operates stably in a temperature range from −40 to +65 °C. The housing, made of acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), provides reliable protection against moisture, dust, direct sunlight, and precipitation.
The Stellar 6 model is equipped with an internal heating system and protection against voltage surges up to 6 kV and electrostatic discharges up to 8 kV. The Gigabit network port is shielded and includes a grounding terminal. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and 256 MB of RAM.
The dual-band radio module guarantees speeds of up to 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and up to 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz. Five discrete power amplifiers maintain signal quality even when external antennas are connected. The device is powered via the 802.3at (PoE+ 18 W) standard and comes with mounting hardware for walls or masts.
For context, Netcraze has been providing Keenetic equipment since 2017, but announced that it would operate entirely under the Netcraze brand starting in October 2025.
