Most popular laptop brands in Russia revealed

The retailer Citilink conducted a study to identify user preferences when purchasing laptops. According to the survey, buyers are well-acquainted with brands on the market and can name several at once. The most recognized brands include Asus, Acer, MSI, Huawei, and iRU. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
When choosing a laptop, buyers focus more on foreign brands: Asus (45%), Acer (29.6%), MSI (25%), Xiaomi (24.9%), Huawei (23.8%), and Honor (17.2%). Among Russian brands, Digma/Digma Pro (12.7%) and iRU (6.6%) are leading. The majority of users purchase devices for universal purposes (42%) or for work (41%).
According to the study results, only 3% of laptops are purchased for gaming, 2.8% for study, and 1.5% as gifts. The main criteria for selection are technical specifications and performance (92.9%), reliability (up to 60%), and price (47.8%). Software and brand image are significant for less than 20% of respondents.
At the decision-making stage, negative reviews and low ratings (73%), brand obscurity (51.9%), and high price (19.6%) serve as the main deterrents. Service availability is also of great importance to buyers. More than 1,200 people from various regions of Russia participated in the survey.
