Memory Market Split: NAND Shortage to End in 2027, While DRAM Crisis Persists

A complex situation is emerging in the global technology market for data storage devices and RAM. According to the latest report from the analytical agency TrendForce, the shortage in the NAND flash memory market is expected to end by the second half of 2027. The main reason for the improvement in the market situation is the expansion of silicon wafer production by giants such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron. As a result of the modernization of technological processes and the launch of new factories, the supply volume will finally meet demand by 2027.
