In Uzbekistan, the talent and selfless work of young people are highly valued. Once again, a decree signed by the head of state became the next step on the path of great attention and trust towards the responsible and proactive youth who are shaping the country’s tomorrow.
One of the most important events of the year: in honor of Youth Day, the President signed a decree to award a group of young people — who have achieved high results in various fields and directed their knowledge and abilities to the development of our homeland — with the "Builder of the Future" medal. This is not only a personal achievement but also a source of inspiration for all youth, a vivid proof that every talent in our country deserves recognition and support.
Inspiring stories and youth as a role model
Among the recipients are the player of the Uzbekistan national football team, Bobur Abdukholiqov, and international grandmaster and chess player Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova. Especially, their fate and service to the country remain a symbol of determination, patriotism, and perseverance.
Footballer Abdukholiqov made a significant contribution to the first-ever qualification of our national team to the World Cup, but was not initially included among those awarded. Now, however, his services have finally been duly recognized.
Likewise, Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova has earned significant recognition in the chess world, having played in the USA for several years, before returning to her homeland and defending the country's honor, remaining a true pride of our youth.
Education, science, business and sports — united by one goal
Among the awardees are graduate students, school pupils, doctors of science, coaches, engineers, entrepreneurs, programmers, pilots, and doctors. With their knowledge and work, they are contributing not only to their own future but also to the development of the whole country. The decree specifically highlights their honesty, inspiring activity, and aspiration to profound knowledge.
Attention to youth — the guarantee of progress
Such state awards, on the one hand, recognize and encourage the high efforts of young people, and on the other — serve as an example for their peers and additional motivation for new ideas and achievements.
