New step with Denmark: Bioprotein feed additive to be produced in Uzbekistan
A delegation of Uzbekistan's State Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry conducted a working visit to Denmark with the support of the country's embassy. As part of this trip, members of the delegation held important negotiations with representatives of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, the Danish Investment Fund IFU, and other well-known companies. The meetings discussed prospects for future joint projects in the fields of veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, certification, staff training, and experience exchange.

The delegation members also visited the UNIBIO Innovation Center and the production sites of Viking Genetics, becoming closely acquainted with the activities of these organizations. An agreement was reached with the management of UNIBIO on developing a new project for the production of bioprotein feed additives in Uzbekistan.

The head of the veterinary department of Viking Genetics supported the proposal to implement joint projects on breeding experience exchange, establishing a selection center, and improving the qualifications of livestock farmers. It was also agreed to organize short-term educational and practical sessions for students of the Samarkand University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, and Biotechnology in Viking Genetics laboratories.

The parties agreed that, as a result of this cooperation, Uzbekistan will reach a new stage in the implementation of modern innovations and the training of industry specialists based on international standards.
