University of the UAE may open a branch in Uzbekistan

Uzbek diplomats held important negotiations with the leadership of Al-Ain University in the United Arab Emirates. The main focus of the meeting was on opportunities in the field of higher education, the investment climate, and issues of bilateral cooperation.
At the beginning of the conversation, a presentation was made on the reforms being implemented in the higher education system of Uzbekistan and measures to create a favorable investment climate. This testifies to the fact that the sphere of science and education in our country is reaching a new level.
During the negotiations, issues of establishing a student and faculty exchange program, organizing a visit of the university's leadership to Uzbekistan, and opening a branch of Al-Ain University in our country were discussed.
Deputy Chairman of the university, Nur Aldin Atatrech, supported these proposals and expressed interest in implementing a number of investment projects in the areas of housing construction and healthcare in Uzbekistan.
For reference, Al-Ain University was founded in 2004 and has two main campuses: one in Al-Ain and the other in Abu Dhabi. The university trains highly qualified specialists in many fields, such as engineering, medicine, pharmaceuticals, law, education and social sciences, business and mass communications.
According to experts, this cooperation can give a new impetus to the education sector of Uzbekistan and further strengthen scientific ties between the two countries in the future.
