Uzbekistan began military training with the armies of five countries

Large-scale military exercises with the participation of units of the defense ministries of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan have begun at the Kattakurgan training ground.

On October 14, the official opening ceremony of the regional joint training "Birlik - 2025" took place. This is one of the largest military exercises organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of this training is to strengthen trust between states, strengthen military cooperation, and jointly counter modern geopolitical threats. During the exercises, the effective use of artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles, armored vehicles, and other modern weapons is envisaged.
