The head of state was welcomed at Andrews Air Force Base by Carolyn Lemm, President of the US-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, James Hankins, Commander of the Joint Staff of the Mississippi National Guard, and other officials.
It was reported that Paolo Zampolli welcomed him at the presidential residence in Washington.
One of the main points of the visit is participation in the first summit of the Peace Council. It is also planned to strengthen cooperation and investment dialogue through a number of business events.
