Uzbekistan’s Labor Potential Promoted: Expanding Cooperation With Polish Companies

In Warsaw, a presentation event dedicated to promoting Uzbekistan’s labor potential and expanding collaboration with Polish companies was held. More than 20 representatives of leading Polish recruiting and employer companies, including Grupa Progres, Gremi Personal, and Personnel International, participated in the event.

During the negotiations, Polish employers clearly stated their specific needs for attracting workforce from Uzbekistan. In particular, 2,000 specialists are needed for the logistics sector, 800 for the service sector, 600 for the industrial sector, and 200 for the construction sector. Thus, it was noted that there is an opportunity to employ approximately 3,600 Uzbek workers.

Representatives of Polish companies attending the event evaluated Uzbekistan as a reliable and promising partner. They stated their readiness to attract Uzbek employees and expressed interest in further strengthening mutual cooperation in this area.

Additionally, representatives of the Polish Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers emphasized the importance of negotiations for establishing an effective migration policy between the two countries. It was noted that the Polish economy constantly requires a stable workforce, and Uzbekistan can be a reliable partner in this regard.

At the meeting, it was also emphasized that the demand for Central Asian, especially Uzbek, workers remains high. Some companies highlighted the importance of simplifying visa procedures to further facilitate labor migration processes.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize the next meetings in a B2B format with the participation of the Uzbekistan Migration Agency and accredited employment organizations. This is considered an important step for ensuring safe, legal, and orderly labor activity of citizens in Poland.

Overall, this event opens new prospects not only in the field of labor migration but also in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
