Car purchases in Uzbekistan increased by 14 percent

In January–February 2026, a total of 57,512 new cars were sold in Uzbekistan. This information was presented in an infographic by “UzAvtosanoat” company.
The main market share, as usual, belongs to UzAuto Motors, which sold 29,943 cars, accounting for 52.1% of the total. In second place is Khorezm Auto with 15,666 cars (27.2%), followed by ADM Jizzakh with 7,202 cars (12.5%) and BYD Uzbekistan Factory with 4,621 cars (8%). Asaka Motors holds 0.1% of the market with 80 cars.
By brand, Chevrolet remains the leader — a total of 45,609 cars were sold. Next are Kia (4,611), BYD (4,621), Chery (1,368), and Haval (1,223). Hyundai has the smallest share with 80 cars.
By model, the best-selling car was the Cobalt with 15,305 units. It was followed by Damas (11,254), Tracker (7,655), Onix (6,799), as well as Labo (4,412) and Sonet (3,912).
For comparison, in January–February 2025, 50,373 cars were sold in Uzbekistan. Thus, in one year, the car market grew by almost 7,000 cars or approximately 14 percent. At the same time, the main market share and best-selling brands remain the same — UzAuto Motors and Chevrolet.
