In Uzbekistan, April is not stable as usual — this year as well the weather will show its “character.” According to “Uzgidromet,” throughout the month spring instability will remain, and warm days are expected to alternate with rains and short cold periods.
From the very first days of the month, in some regions short-term rains and even thunderstorms may be observed. However, it is not the same everywhere: in some areas the weather will remain dry and sunny. For example, in the Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley, precipitation is not expected on April 1–3 with high probability.
According to the main forecasts, in April the temperature will remain relatively high. At night, it is usually around +12…+17 degrees, but on some days it may drop to +7…+12 degrees. During the day, the temperature will “jump” from +27…+32 degrees to +15…+20 degrees. On the warmest days, the air may rise to +28…+33 degrees.
In the first ten days of the month, rains will be observed from time to time almost across the entire republic. However, these precipitations will have a local character — that is, in one area it may rain, while in a neighboring area the sun may shine.
In the second and third ten-day periods, the weather will also not “calm down.” According to forecasters, on average 1–3 rainy days may be observed in each ten-day period. Therefore, in April it will be necessary to adjust plans according to the weather.
Another important aspect is the alternation of sharp warming and short-term cooling. On some nights, the temperature may drop significantly, and coolness may be felt. Therefore, the idea “if it is warm tomorrow, it will stay like that” does not work in this month.
