In Uzbekistan, enrollment in the 1st grade of general education schools for the 2026-2027 academic year will be fully conducted electronically. This was officially announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
It is noted that enrollment will take place in two stages:
- From June 20 to July 31 within the microdistrict;
- From August 1 to August 31 outside the microdistrict online.
In addition, the number of districts and cities where online enrollment will be implemented has increased from 64 to 135, and the number of schools from 1956 to 5689. All applications are submitted via the Unified Portal of Interactive State Services (my.gov.uz) and my.maktab.uz.
The age for enrollment for the new academic year is traditionally for 7-year-old children, that is, for the 2026-2027 school year — children born by December 31, 2019.
In areas where the online system has not yet been introduced, enrollment is carried out in the usual manner by schools. Additionally, to ensure transparency, all information will be publicly posted in schools.
It is reported that presidential gifts with 12 types of educational equipment will be delivered to all schools by August 20 of this year.
Now the process of entering the first grade for parents and children will become much easier, all will be carried out through an online and convenient system.
