Official: Housewives in Uzbekistan will also receive “maternity payments” — up to 4 million soums

Starting from 2026, pregnancy and childbirth benefits will also be available to housewives. This was officially announced.

According to the new rules, to use this benefit, a person must register as a self-employed individual and connect to the social insurance system.

The requirements are clearly defined: a monthly payment of 63,550 soums and continuous payments for at least 10 months.

Through this system, housewives will be able to receive maternity benefits of up to 4 million soums in the future.
