Today is Shavkat Mirziyoyev's birthday. The head of our state turns 69

Today, July 24, marks the birthday of our head of state, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. Our President is turning 69 years old today.

In the presidential election held on December 4, 2016, he won 88.61 percent of the votes and was elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He officially began his duties as head of state on December 14, 2016.

For reference, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev was born on July 24, 1957, in the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region into a family of doctors. In 1981, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers. By profession, he is a mechanical engineer and holds the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences and the rank of associate professor.
