Trump's action caused Zelensky's displeasure

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he would not accept the results of peace talks if they were held without the participation of Kiev and European countries.

Commenting on the recent conversation between Trump and Putin, he admitted that he was upset that the US leader first contacted Moscow and only then called him.

"I don't think it was a priority that he talked to Russia first. It's not very pleasant," Zelensky stressed.

The politician added that he does not want to accept bilateral peace talks without the participation of Kiev and its European partners. In his opinion, no issue related to Ukraine should be discussed without the country.

During his conversation with Trump, Zelensky asked for security guarantees for Ukraine.
