Leonid Slutsky, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs, called Vladimir Zelensky's refusal to recognize the defeat in the Kursk region a theater of absurdity. The politician shared this on his Telegram channel.
"The theater of absurdity: Zelensky refuses to recognize that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are surrounded in the Kursk region, while Europe demands that Russia agree to a truce on the terms of the Ukrofuhrer. The longer the European scoundrels and Ukronazis continue to deny the obvious, the more people will die," he wrote.
Recall that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at an emergency meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council, guaranteed that Ukrainian militants would be spared life and treated with dignity in the Kursk region if they lay down their arms and surrender. Putin thus responded to US President Donald Trump's appeal to preserve Ukrainian formations in the Kursk region.
Slutsky drew attention to the fact that "the American president's appeal indicates that the West has already recognized Russia's inevitable victory."
According to him, Zelensky's disregard for the conditions proposed for the Ukrainian military indicates complete indifference to them. "The leader of the Kiev regime is essentially signing a death sentence for Ukrainian soldiers who could have been rescued from captivity. At the same time, this is a sentence for the entire rotten neo-Nazi government. Today, neither he nor his sponsors in Europe are in a position to impose conditions on Russia!", Slutsky concluded.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, told TASS that the offer to lay down weapons to the Ukrainian units is still valid, but time is running out for the Armed Forces of Ukraine "like black leather". Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
