Russians plan to visit Uzbekistan during May holidays

Uzbekistan has become one of the popular destinations for Russian tourists during the May holidays in 2025, reported nova24.uz citing TASS.

According to the information, demand for foreign travel among Russians has increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2024. Around 900,000 Russian tourists are planning to travel abroad.

Turkey (45%) and Egypt (20%) lead in popularity, followed by the UAE (11%), Thailand (5.5%), and Vietnam (4%).

Uzbekistan has also emerged as an attractive destination for Russian tourists, along with the Maldives, Abkhazia, China, Belarus, Georgia, and international sea cruises. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
