HAMAS and US agreement: ceasefire may be reached in Gaza
HAMAS has confirmed reaching a framework agreement with the US for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the enclave, and the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries.

This was announced in a statement published on the official Telegram channel of the Palestinian movement.

The agreement includes the release of 10 Israeli hostages in exchange for the freeing of an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners, as well as the return of several bodies of deceased captives to the other side.
