Greta Thunberg was also stopped: Israel detained a ship carrying aid to Gaza
Israeli forces have seized an Italian ship carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza. The ship was carrying world-famous Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, CNN reported.

The ship was launched by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which includes world-famous environmental activists, including MEP Rima Hassan. They aimed to deliver life-saving supplies to Gaza, including food and medical supplies.

According to activists on board, the ship was stopped in international waters. The Israeli Navy surrounded the ship with drones and sprayed it with a white substance, possibly a harmful or blinding chemical. At that moment, communication was cut off, and disturbing sounds were heard over the radio.

“If you are watching this video, it means that we have been detained by the Israeli military in international waters,” Thunberg said in a pre-recorded video message from the ship.

Although Israeli authorities have released videos confirming that the ship was distributing water and sandwiches to those on board, the “Freedom Flotilla” described this approach as “kidnapping.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz responded: “I have ordered all measures to be taken to prevent the Madeleine from reaching Gaza.”

It should be noted that this is not the first time that Israel has blocked the delivery of humanitarian aid. However, this time, the incident has become the center of international attention due to the global reputation of the passengers on board.
