Shanghai Cooperation Organization events kick off in Tianjin

On August 31, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife attended the informal ceremonies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held at the Meijiang Convention Center in Tianjin, China.
The prestigious meeting was attended by a number of statesmen, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Iranian President Masoud Pizishkin, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, and other dignitaries. The heads of government of Egypt, Cambodia, Nepal, and Armenia, as well as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, also attended the ceremony.
The leader of Uzbekistan and his wife were warmly welcomed by the host of the summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and his wife. This high-level cordiality gave a special spirit to the event.
Later, an artistic concert program dedicated to the Tianjin Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was presented to the leaders of foreign delegations. The concert presented beautiful examples of Chinese culture and art to the participants.
These meetings were not only a platform for political dialogue, but also played an important role in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the countries.
