Earlier, Trump had spoken by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and representatives of the "volunteer coalition." It was reported that this conversation took place during the Ukrainian leader's visit to Paris, during which security guarantees for Kyiv were discussed.
According to Reuters, during the hour-long dialogue, the US president called on European leaders to stop purchasing Russian oil. Trump also spoke about China's financial support for Russia's military operations in Ukraine, emphasizing the need for economic pressure.
