Ukrainian officials stated that Russia's latest airstrike, carried out just before dawn yesterday, has led to serious consequences. As a result of the attack, at least four people were killed, and 44 were injured to varying degrees.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the incident, accusing Russia of killing civilians. According to him, such large-scale attacks by Moscow demonstrate that it artificially prolongs the war and hinders a political solution.
"Such murders are being committed now, at a time when real diplomacy could begin. This is a deliberate crime of the Russian leadership. They are interested in prolonging the war. As Washington has repeatedly emphasized, anyone who refuses to negotiate will be subject to sanctions. Only firm political will can compel the Kremlin to stop killing people," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that the Ukrainian people will continue to defend their independence and territorial integrity despite such attacks. According to him, Russia's military actions are aimed at destabilizing not only Ukraine but the security of all of Europe.
